What We Believe -
WE BELIEVE the Bible is the only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. The Bible is the absolute standard and final authority for belief and behavior. - WE BELIEVE there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God, the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
- WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life, was crucified, buried and raised from the dead. We believe that He ascended to Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor.
- WE BELIEVE that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ as commanded by God for all.
- WE BELIEVE that justification, regeneration and new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ and the finished work on the cross
- WE BELIEVE that all who repent should follow the Lord's command and be baptized by water baptism following the example of Jesus Christ.
- WE BELIEVE in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
- WE BELIEVE in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, according to Acts 2:4; and that it is given to believers who ask for it.
- WE BELIEVE in the pre- millennial second coming of Jesus Christ. This event, called the Rapture, will take place prior to the Great Tribulation.
- WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the dead in Christ and those alive in Christ, at the time of the Rapture, to be followed by an eternity in Heaven for the righteous.
- WE BELIEVE it is the responsibility of every believer to dedicate his or her life to carrying out the work of the Great Commission.
Romans 5:8 says that "God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." God has so much love for all humanity that it literally drove his son Jesus to death on a cross. In three days the buried Christ arose from the grave defeating sin and the power it had over all humanity. Acts 17:30 says "God commands all people everywhere to repent." A life changing experience with Christ begins when you repent of your sins. You must believe that he died for you and that you are cleansed from all your sins. Lastly, you have to confess with your mouth that you believe in Christ. If you would like to receive Christ as your personal Savior, repeat this prayer from a sincere heart: God, I know that I am a sinner. I ask you to forgive me of all of my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross. I believe Jesus' shed blood, death, burial and resurrection were for me. I now receive you as my Savior. I thank you for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of salvation with everlasting life. Thank you for your grace and help me to live and serve you the best that I can. Amen. If you prayed that prayer, then we would like to welcome you into the family of God. We would like to share in your joy. Please call or email us to let us know of your decision.
